| درباره | Saratov State University, founded in 1909, is one of the oldest and largest universities in Russia. It is international leading scientifi c and methodological center. Its applied developments are implicated in electronic, engineering, transport, chemical, oil refi ning industry, agriculture and geology. In 2010 the Government of Russia assigned the status of the “National Research University” to Saratov State University. The University structure includes 15 faculties, 8 educational institutions, 2 colleges, basic departments at schools, at industrial enterprises and institutions, a variety of scientifi c, research and innovation structures. More than 21 000 students study at Saratov State University. The academic staff exceeds 1200 people, 275 of them hold doctor’s degree and 722 of them are candidates of science. The infrastructure of SSU consists of 260 real estate items, which are located on the total area of 178,122 m2. Among them, there are 19 academic and laboratory buildings, with the area of 112,119 m2 and 11 hostels with an area of 51,890 m2. SSU is three-time winner in the competition for grants of state support from the Government of the Russian Federation for scientifi c research undertaking under the guidance of leading scientists. | ||
