In 1997, by order No. 116 / OK of 20.05.1997 in Izhevsk, a training and consulting office of the State Pedagogical University was established, on the basis of which, pursuant to Order No. 451 / OK of 30 November 1998, a Representative Office was opened. The branch of VyatGU was created by the order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 288 of 31.01.2000 under the name "Branch of Vyatka State Pedagogical University in Izhevsk".
